Sightings & Rumors

As AMC owners, we have learned to spot other AMCs when we pass them on the road across 6 lanes of traffic! At cruises, we hear stories like "Yea, my friend has 5 of these in his barn!". Well, here is the place to let others know about those. Of course, its understandable if you keep the best ones secret! I only know about the Lee County area, let me know of other areas.

I've been seeing a nice baby blue Pacer at a MH sales lot in N Ft Myers at Bayshore and Old 41. I need to stop and find out the details.

That Eagle SX4 is now in N Ft Myers at a transmission shop on Pondella between busines 41 and north Cleveland.

There is an early Pacer on Palm Beach Blvd next to Mr Chips auto sales. When I called Mr Chips, they said they rented that lot but dont know what is the deal with the Pacer.

There is an Eagle SX4, in fair shape sitting on the auction lot on SR 80 near Fleamasters in Fort Myers. At least it was there about a month ago. Might be able to pick it up cheap.
There is a 73/74 Javelin AMX on Dupree St off SR 80 in Fort Myers. Gold in color with brown trim with Gold Rush painted on back. It was for sale last year for $3500, way too much, its pretty beat up and rust plus it has a chevy in it
I've heard from a couple people now of a black Javelin in a Cape Coral garage near Cape Coral Pkwy yet no one can tell me exactly where!
In December I saw a red 1968 4-door Rambler for sale on Bayshore Rd in N Ft Myers for $1k but before I could go check it out, it was gone, never to return
Several times now I have seen a red Gremlin with Cragers driving around town in N Ft Myers, once it was even pulling a trailor!
I called on an ad for about an AMX for sale. Evidently it was a fixer-upper project, forget the price. It may still be there. I didnt go see it but the guy said it was in a body shop on Evans in Ft Myers near Edison.
About 3 times now I have seen a red with white stripes 74 Javelin driving around town. I know the previous owner. The car has a 401 factory engine. A young girl drives it now. I haven't seen it in a while.
