Tonight's match against the 6e9 clan was much more intense than our first.  They put up a much better fight than I thought they would.  We won the match 2 games to 1.   Level descriptions below:

ACTCITY2 - This level was again our pick for the match and was much closer than we would have liked.  The rounds were close the whole time and the lead changed hands at least 3 or 4 times.  WC ended with two wins to finish the level.  Great demo of this level (6e9_2.dm2) included in the demo pack below.  The first 8 rounds were recorded in a demo "6e9_1.dm2" but it is tedious to watch because the first 4 minutes of it are us waiting around for a 6e9 guy to show up.  (If you want to see it email Jazzman or Frag God)   Final score WC: 9, 6e9: 7

TEAMJUNGLE - This level created much agony for both teams.  The 6e9'ers grabbed a torturous 5-1 lead at the start of the level, much to our dismay.  Then it was WC's turn to dish out anxiety as we (eventually) got organized enough to win 7 of the next 9 rounds, finishing with an 8-8 tie.  Freezer had to leave the match after only 3 rounds, and Toxoph replaced him for the rest of the level.  This was later determined to be illegal, so the level was forfeited to 6e9.   Demo "6e9_3.dm2" I think covers the entire level, with some good and very painful shots in it.

CLIFF - This determining level was completely dominated by the WC from the start.  I was out of Quake looking at the rules on the tournament page, and I forgot to start recording when I reconnected, so the demo for this round (6e9_5.dm2) starts with a WC lead of 4-0.  It continues until the scores are about 11-2 with about 5 minutes left.  The last 4 rounds were accidentally recorded in a separate demo (6e9_6.dm2) which you can also send an email if you want to this one too.  Jazzman-X dominated this, one of his favorite levels, with the help of quite a few strategic shots from Violent Marv, despite being lagged a lot and having to reconnect at least once.

This match was great fun to watch, especially with all the colorful comments from the dying players, and probably very exciting to play.   We'd like to thank the 6e9 clan for being honorable opponents, and we hope to kill them again someday in the happy fragging ground in the sky.
