Well here we go again someone emailed
somone and forced me to update this thing, not like anyone ever comes here, but if you do
know that some people are still alive. Black said get Halo or die dammit!, I've seen
Blacks collection of weaponry I'd do as he says or you might find yourself waking up dead.
Just kidding...... Anyway back to the story of the year. If
anyone is still alive just let people know you can click on my name below and I will get
an email from you. Black is lonely he needs other people to kill in Halo I just want
to see how many people actually read this page..

*'Crew Dead?
Hi all who read this page. Crew
operations have been nonexistant for many a year or so. I guess everyone has been
busy doing other things but all is not lost for those of you interested in knowing
whats going on quite a few of us have started playing Battlefield 1942, and have formed a new clan
with which to play it The Agent Sector.
So we are dead just this site is stale. Maybe someday we can get something going
Crew wise.. I still use the clan tag for various games so if you want to find me
just search for the ol "(WC)-" and you may see me roasting someone in DoD or
Q3A, RTCW or even Q2 (scary its still installed)

*New Q3plug, Fix for IE 5.5, 6..
Just to let everyone know that there is
a newwer q3plug available for those of you who like browsing for servers via the web page.
You can get the file here, bear with me as I
fix the server lists it has been a long time since I have seen the qplug boxes so I have
not updated them. This file has the registry fix for users of IE 5.5 and 6 who
lost the ability to view Netscape style plugins, so yes the normal q2plug will now work
again as I did not set up the q2 page to work with q3plug which does just about every game
out there including Return
to Castle Wolfenstien, which looks to be something this clan needs to buy when it
comes out.
In a sort of related not the Wrecking Crew Server has been down for several weeks due to
some sort of electrical problem at the building the server is hosted at. This
problem will hopefully be resolved soon so be patient as this issue is being handled and
it out of my control.
Anyone intrested in the new game Ghost
Recon? Well if you are go now and get the Demo which allows you to play one map
in single player and test your skills at multiplayer on Ubi.com or across a LAN so go here and get to downloading
this game shows lots of promise.
One last item, for those of you who read this page whenever I update it email me and let me know
what game(s) / mod(s) you are currently playing and which games you are looking forward to
that might be of intrest to the clan. We are trying to push the clan forward and
bring back the glory days of the WC so we need some good team style games to help
out.

*To renovate or not to renovate...
This is the question of the year.
I know there aren't too many people who actually read this site anymore. I
don't blame you what is so important here? Well if you do look at this and you are a
current member of the crew here is what I am proposing. We redesign this site.
I have many of ideas in mind but lack the creativity to implement them. I
hope to have at least two or three people come forward with some ideas for this
"renovation" of the clan site, mind you this will not be a simple job as there
are tons of pages here and tons of SHIT people have added to the site in recent years..
Maybe just maybe we can ressurect this clan. Considering the great games due and the
current kick ass mods avialable for other games I do not see why people can't get
involved. SO if you are reading this email me and let me know if
you are ready to rock and roll with a new site design. If you don't I'll assume this
page never gets read.

Happy News...
I just got word that Jazzman-X and his
wife had their second child yesterday morning. I just want to say congratulations to
the happy parents of a 8.1lbs baby boy. Everyone welcome Justin John Curtis to the
world. Looks like jazzman will be looking for a new place to keep his computer hehe.

I upgraded the Day of Defeat server to
the latest version and put friendly fire back on and yes you do get punted if you tk too
much. You can get the update here,
or if you ask nice I may let you have download privies from the actual server itself.
We are still waiting for the AQDT to release the new
version of Action Quake 2, I know thats old shit but for those of you who care (does
anyone actually read this?) we still have a server running it.
On newer gaming news, Serioous Sam is Serious fun.
Come on you cheap bastards go get the damn thing its ony $20. Thats right for
the cost of a damn music CD you can have FUN. This game has brought Jazzman-X out of
his cave and got his gaming juices flowing again..He is designing maps for it as we speak
and he has other ideas so go buy the freaking thing you wont be sorry the game is fun the
monsters come in by the truck load and they will make you sweat. Let me know if you
do get it and would like to see what else we can do to the game..

What's everyone playing these days?
Not a respond-or-die deal, I just haven't played any
online games in over a year at least, so I was just wondering what games were popular with
the kids these days. :-) I bought a Voodoo5 for my new computer when they first came out, for the
possibility that I might one day have time to play some 3D games. Right now it's
been sitting bored off its ass displaying telnet windows and email messages, and the
occasional BSOD... So if you get a chance, send me a quick email and let me know what
games/mods you've been playing lately (doesn't have to be FPS games, any kind), or what
else you've been doing if not playing. There WILL be a Lan Blast 4, may take us another
year or more to save up for it, but by god we will have our super low ping carnage!

Well after a month of playing around
the server is finally back up and running Action
Quake2 and a new mod for Half-Life called Day
of Defeat, feel free to update your server browsers to show our server or just go to
the server page and look at the Action Quake 2 server via qplug2. Enjoy.

machine was I have found it and it should hopefully be back online soon with a new host

Well long time between news updates but
hey its been slow ok.. Just a quick update on the server situation, the server is
running fine but we still have some connect problems here and there. I have set up a
HL TFC 1.5 server and changed the CTF server to a Matchmod RailWars server (set it up fast
still learning settings on this one) the HL TFC server is at quake.ugofast.net:27015, just
look for Wrecking Crew TFC in the HL server browser. The rail wars server is located
on the server page via qplug or for those of you who have no clue what a plugin is
quake.ugofast.net:27666.. later
