Well disregard FRaG GoD's last comment about me not having access, even though this article might be short lived...  Anyway, I made it safely back to good old smog ridden Chicago suburbs.  SIGGRAPH 98' kicked a*s, (even though as FRaG GoD hinted that I saw more of the Orlando Convention center's stalls' than I did the exhibits.) they had quite a few different companies showing off head gear and motion tracking devices using quake 2.  Some where pretty cool, but just made playing the game very difficult.  You clan members that think your hot stuff because you have a monster II have not seen anything yet.. They had Accellegraph cards with 32meg of video ram playing quake at 1280x1024 in at least 30fps..

Well, I'm also very disappointed that I have come back empty handed with no evidence that NeoReality is actually working with Microsoft. (even though ZapMan and Jazzman-X had a VERY friendly chat with the MS rep at Siggraph). If anyone has read the hosting rules for NeoReality, then I don't know what other evidence you need. ;) - AntiMatter 3:16am EST

Well as you probably noticed I have not been online for at least a week.  When we first got back from Siggraph, I ended up staying at Zap Man's house for a few days because going home would have involved work, and none of us felt like doing any work at all.  So we laid around and watched TV and slept a lot while Antimatter (who we can talk about now that he no longer has access to the web site <g> ) recovered from his experience with some water that had gone bad... Then I went home in time to begin jury duty downtown.  That's right some schmucks decided a long time ago that the best way to handle serious legal problems was to grab a bunch of ignorant people at random and throw them in a room for many days, and let lawyers torment them until they make a decision on it.  Well we've been continuing that tradition in this country for some reason and this week I was 'grabbed' for the job.   I basically just sat around saying "He's guilty!  He's guilty!  Fry him Fry him!", but some guy in a black bathrobe kept saying some crap about how this was a "civil case" and not a "criminal case" and that nobody was going to be found "guilty".  Yeah right, they just keep coming up with new ways to avoid taking responsibility don't they!  Just say that "nobody's guilty" so we can all feel good about ourselves right?!  Well anyway I got bored of the same charade over and over again so I just got up and left in the middle of the 3rd day.   Some old guy in a sheriff's costume started chasing after me but he was an old fart and couldn't run very fast, and I easily out-ran him.  I don't know how they get anything done down there with such incompetent security like that.  I'm surprised the rest of the people didn't just get up and leave too...

Well anyways, now that I'm back I had to mow the grass and pack and now I'm going away for another week on some sort of "family vacation" type thing to some northern state.  Well I realize that's not very descriptive because every other state is north compared to where I am, but they're all the same anyway as far as I'm concerned.  So if you send me any emails or ICQ messages don't expect a reply until about 7 days after today.  I'm too tired to figure out what number goes with that day, so I'll let you figure it out if you're bored.

Freezer Notes..(damn ripping off the man's heading)
I hereby proclaim myself fully engrossed in SIN..heheh I played multiplayer last night, and all I'm gonna say is..I was up until 4am playing, so I am beat today.  My observations on the multiplayer aspect of Sin is this.  Turn up your brightness in the game settings, set up your Quake 2 config, and have a fragfest.  Since the only skin you get is Blade it is really hard to see unless you jack up the brightness a bit.  I was playing on a server with a guy that had a zero ping and I had around a 250 and it ran nice..no lag to speak of..Like Action Quake you have to pay attention to the items because they are hard to see especially health.  Here is the server for those of you who downloaded the demo..209.53.23.124:22450.  I do plan on playing some more of this soon.. - Freezer 10:03pm EST

Jazz Notes...
To clarify my pic comment from yesterday...they both look goofy. I just wanted to be clear who was who. hehehe. I have been playing SIN and I have to say I like it. Although you need to have a pretty speedy system to be able to enjoy it. From what I have seen if you do not have a 3DFX type accelerator card you better have like a P2 233 or higher. If you have a 3DFX you can get away with playing it fine on like a P166 (nothing lower though) after you turn a few features down or off. I haven't played it multiplayer yet but the single player experience is very cool.

Freezer and I or working on some details for a possible next Clan Party. We are planning on hooking up some networked pc's to add to the fun. We will keep you posted. - Jazzman-X 3:25pm EST

Forgive me father for I have Sin(ned)...
Well so far after waiting all day on Sinday (uh Sunday?) and waiting for the demo to download, with the help of GetRight and having to do without my PC for the last day I have managed to play a few minutes of Sin.   All I can say now is this the opening sequence is kinda stupid but once that got over with the game was pretty good I see some flaws but I guess they have to be that way (some of them) I did notice that most of your Quake 2 commands will still work (duh its a Quake 2 engine game) so plan on knowing a bit about how the game operates due to your Quake 2 experience.  I will play more with the game and post screenshots soon, so look for our review in the sidebar soon.

In unrelated business (well not really unrelated) I am currently updating the CrackWhore Files pages so if any of you CrackHeads out there have any good screenshots or CrackWhore info you'd like to share email them to me (don't send me 2mb files please, if you need to ICQ me first and we will transfer them that way..my mail server at my ISP is flaky if I get too much mail it corrupts the mailbox). - Freezer 11:22pm EST

Jazz Notes

A few other items: I am going to have the clan party pic/article up tonight sometime. I forgot the pictures at work and was unable to put them up last night. Finding matches has become near impossible nowadays. If any of you WC guys find a clan to challenge let me know. Clan Party #2- I am getting geared up for us to have another clan party. This time maybe at my house so we can hook up a couple PC's and have some fun DeathMatching. I am looking at around sometime late next week maybe? Jazz Notes...
I have been extremely busy and about to go postal on people today. Sorry for the lack of updates from me. Why nobody else has been updating is a mystery to me. Just a few quick things I wanted to get out to you guys.

I got the pictures back from the clan party yesterday. In general they turned out pretty good. One of the group pictures was great except for we caught RIPley with her eyes shut (whoops, it always happens to one person). The webmasters picture also turned out very nice I think. The other one that was best was one of Freezer holding up his prize over Antimatter's crushed and submissive corpse(hehe, I couldn't resist the descrip.) I plan on trying to scan them and put them up on the site tonight.

I also downloaded the "SIN" demo this morning. I only played it for like 3 or 4 minutes here (too busy) so I haven't really seen much. I have it on a zip disk and am taking it home to play some more tonight (if I don't pass out from exhaustion). I will try to write up a little opinion on it for all of you if your trying to decide if the big download (34meg) is worth it.

I have also been playing Action Quake on our server like crazy. Sorry for my absence on the CTF server. I am just addicted. I will probably get over it in another week or so. We are trying to get another CTF match scheduled. Gator has a lead and we are checking into it.   - Jazzman-X 4:39pm EST

We...live...again...
We made it back alive!!! Siggraph 98 was great fun. The 4 of us had a good time and we have a grand selection of  tales to share with you. The information being given to Freezer from Antimatter was completely false. Antimatter was dreaming of beer and porno too much and fabricated these tales in order to try and avoid scandalous details being released about him. These details will be released very soon by Frag God, Zapman and myself. We also took some pics that we will put up on the site.

Anyway, we had a good time. Hell, if the four of us can get together, travel long distance, not get arrested, do not break anything, Frag God doesn't get lost, Zapman doesn't lose the money, I don't crash the car, and Antimatter doesn't spend all our money on porno....I consider it a successful trip.  - Jazzman-X 10:39am EST

Jazzman, Frag God, and Zapman update...
Well seeing how Jazzman, Frag God, and Zapman are at the mercy of Antimatter, I'll have to update you all on the situation.  

Jazzman, Frag God, and Zapman were last seen traveling with Antimatter north on I-75.   Since his escape, Antimatter was overheard babbling something about getting even.   Well it looks as though this has occurred.  Earlier today I received a phone call from Antimatter, in this phone call he described the horror that is unfolding as I write this somewhere in central Florida.  Antimatter has described the place where he has left Jazzman, Frag God, and Zapman and he has also graphically stated what he has done to these three. 

It seems as though he has buried them in a double-wide trailer in an undisclosed beach location.  He claims that they are in good health as he feeds them twice daily with Surge and rock candy.  I asked him to let me speak to Jazzman but he became belligerent and said something about me being next.  Well I will tell you this I have relocated to a more secure location and I will not be next, so Antimatter if you are reading this, and I know you are, all I have to say is "You want some?"   Antimatter's demands are simple, he wants the copy of CyborGirl Pinball that is currently in my possession and he wants a Hooters 1998 calendar and Miss August from that calendar to deliver the goods.  So tomorrow I will take the ransom as well as Miss August to the entrance at Disney World to make the swap.  If everything goes as planned I will receive a map with the whereabouts of our trio of fellow crew members, I will be packing, so Antimatter no tricks or I'll introduce you to my Boomstick, and don't think Miss August is staying there, I fully intend on bringing her home with us so she can nurse Jazzman, Frag God and Zapman back to health.  Wish me luck!! - Freezer 1:14am EST

More Action Quake 2 stuff
I played a little with Cheasy, Freezer and Gator on Action Quake 2 servers this weekend. I got the impression that maybe Freezer and Cheasy didn't like it that much but Gator was to busy playing to comment (Although he was laughing and saying cool a lot). I am totally addicted to it (as I am sure you all can tell as much as I talk about it). You just have to give it a chance. If you go into it in a bad mood or something you may not like it. (p.s. Freezer, keep at it..I am playing with a 33.6 modem so you don't need blazing connect speed to play it).

You really have to play differently in Action Quake 2 to be successful. Kinda like when you played CTF for the first time after playing DM for so long. You have to adapt to a different style of play. Aim carefully, duck for cover, conserve ammo, bandage when needed. Most of all make sure you get all the binds setup right. You need to have all of them to survive. If you ever wondered what Quake 2 would have been like if they let John Woo design it....here it is.  - Jazzman-X 11:52am EST

Action Quake 2
Just go get this... Action Quake 2. This mod is the most fun for me since I  played CTF for the first time. Make sure you read through the site and read the readme files that come with the download as they contain important bind info. (I swear I am so sick of going on the Action servers and everyone asking what keys to bind) I played today for like 2 hours already. I have been using "Jazz-X" so look for me. Jazzman's Notes...
First of all I want to say that I think everyone had a good time at the WC Crew party the other night. Everyone got along good and I am sure everyone cannot wait till we do it again. I will also acknowledge that Antimatter gave a good attempt against Freezer in the arm wrestling match but in the end he was a little out of his league. The rematch that took place later was not really valid (they switched to left hands and by then Freezer had already had like 7 or 8 beers. Oh, well maybe next year Antimatter will go into training and be ready for a rematch. - Jazzman-X 3:02pm EST

AntiMatter's Disappointment of Freezer.
After stopping a few times to observe the scenery at Hooters, I continued on in search of the man they call Freezer. Then I saw him, Jet Black hair and ugly as sin.  The challenge began as soon as Jazzman-X offered the prize of "Cybergirl Pinball" to the winner. At that moment I knew I must win, for that game was my destiny, my... well anyway I lost. After putting up a valiant fight, our waitress in tight orange shorts leans over to deliver my root Beer. Me, being momentarily distracted had my hand thrust into one of the Klingon knives, the funny thing is Freezer seem to have not been distracted at the very least.  With the agonizing pain that I was in, I knew a rematch was in order, so after Freezer downloaded his 5th beer the fight commenced, using my one good hand, and no distractions in sight, I achieved victory! Only to find to my dismay that "Cybergirl Pinball" was still his. - AntiMatter 4:02 PST

AntiMatter Escapes!
Using my superior intellect and maneuvering, I have managed to escape from the hell beneath Jazzman-X's house.  I have now confiscated ZapMan's computer and have hacked the WC site. I also made some improvements to www.neoreality.com. I'm still feeling the effects of the steroids, which unfortunately will be wearing off before I make my sudden appearance at the boobs and beer party.  I have also gained important files off of ZapMan's computer that clearly shows he is using his Lucas story as an elaborate cover-up for some buyout by Microsoft.  Oh and their multiple 2400baud modem banks seem to have been miss referred to as multiple T3's, which explains the 1s tech support duration.  Keep in touch while the man on the run continues to bring down the conspiracy. - AntiMatter 3:00pm ?

Rules for hosting at NeoReality.
A little known fact of NeoReality is that Lucas is actually the CEO. In a brief meeting this morning, Lucas said something like "Marty, I play crash with you - wanna be Batman car?" which I interpreted to mean he was instructing me to post our official hosting rules for the general public to view. Obviously, only a small elite group of people are even considered for hosting on our kick ass servers (can you say multiple T3's?) but apparently Lucas feels it necessary to share the hosting rules so you all know what Freezer and friends have to follow. (Hint: these are not even close to being real rules... hehehe...) - ZapMan 8:50pm EST

Antimatter taken hostage.
In a masterful covert operation planned by Lucas and Kasey the dog, ZapMan and Frag God have been able to capture agent Antimatter as he quite innocently showed up in Florida for a computer conference later this month. He is being held in a small dark room under Jazzman-X's house, being made to "pleasure" Kasey and being made to listen to Lucas practicing his ABC's over and over again. Antimatter is being starved until tomorrow morning, when we will feed him raw steak all day, along with steroid boosters, in anticipation of the much-publicized bout with Freezer. WC officials have declined Pay-Per-View's multiple offers to broadcast the fight, which are reported to be in the billions of dollars, citing ethical issues and some minor problems obtaining rights from Hooters. - ZapMan 8:50pm EST

Starting today I will have a password setup on our server. The password is "crew". Now you may be laughing saying "Well that's real good...". Hehee, well the reason for this is for right now I want our server to be for clan use in regards to practice more than just random playing of gamers. If you want to go play with a bunch of fools you can go to any other server on our servers page. If you want to go practice some trick, or practice with clan members...then use our server.

Our server is really for practice and matches. The reason I went ahead and put the password up here is that I invite anyone who visits our page to come in and play whenever they want also (be careful of your conduct if you do decide to come in, dumbass behavior will not be tolerated- Consider this a private club that you have a trial membership to if you come in.). If any of you clan members or non-members has a friend or someone you know...go ahead and give them the password too. Hell, I dont mind that..I just think we need to lay off of the open public server for at least a little while. If any of you have any comments...as usual stuff them up your a....ummm I mean let me know, hehe.  - Jazzman-X 12:15pm EST

The Legend Continues...
I wouldn't worry about the Decaying ex-Leaders too much... Whatever Einstein stole the page from our site expertly deleted the part that ran the script to submit the results to an email, but didn't replace it with their own script.  Probably they just saw that it included 'neoreality.com' in the line, and decided to remove the 'evidence' of their theft, but then couldn't figure out what to replace it with.  So now, not only can you NOT scroll to the bottom of the page on their site to hit the Submit button, if you DID somehow manage to click it, all the stuff you typed in wouldn't go anywhere.  So much for that stroke of genius...  They'd be better off just having it link to OUR challenge page and then ask us to forward any of the people who wanted to challenge them or something...  :)

I know that at least one person from their clan checks this site occasionally, so hopefully they'll get a clue from reading our rantings and fix up their site a bit.  And maybe learn some HTML before trying to jump into web-godliness.  Well I think Freezer's plea for professionalism in everything is a little bit more than what's necessary.  I think that we got more B.S. from any single one of the people in their clan who came to our server than from everybody else in our clan put together.  All that really needs to be said is don't act like a retard like they were.  Even I got pissed off at these guys, which is pretty rare for me while playing Quake, but the soap-opera crap should be over now.  Now I'm going to start preparing props for the arm-wrestling showdown between Freezer and Antimatter at the clan meeting.  Does anybody have any of those little Klingon blades that stand up on the tables?

Jazzman-X Random Rants...[Ques. of the day- "Do I have to plug in the phone cord..." ]
Well a couple of things I want to touch on today.
- First, in regards to the matters below that Freezer has talked about I really do not want to make any comments. The only thing I will say is I am not quite as upset as Freezer seems to be. This type of thing happens a lot. It just shows the ability of the person doing it in whether they can take something and change it to make it better or just blatantly rip it off...
-Second, I am somewhat upset at the total drop off of Viking Mod development. They have not updated the site since June 22nd and I even checked out Sgt. D's Sod.net site and he makes no mention of it there. It seems that Viking may have reached it's limit perhaps (I hope I am wrong). I will probably start going around over the next week looking at other server admin. type programs that support CTF and any other things we may like. I will most likely bring this up at the party on Thursday also. If any of you have any recommendations let me know.
-Third, a few things I have been doing and am about to do... My most recent Gamer's Digest submission is front page news over at the site (Diablo 2 preview)... Frag God, Zapman and myself are all going to Siggraph 98 in Orlando Florida on the 21st and 22nd of this month (Antimatter will also be there). I plan on taking pictures and getting every freebie under the sun. I will be doing reports both here and on Gamer's Digest after the trip....The clan party is but 2 days away, to all of you coming make sure you bring your favorite shades or props for pics (no Freezer leave you fake poop at home, hehe)...  - Jazzman-X 2:15pm EST

Freezer on ignorance...
I really shouldn't even say anything about the recent plagiarism of our site but I have to and if you worked on any of the pages on this site you'd truly understand this.  Me, Jazzman, FRaG God, and Zap Man have busted our butts trying to make this site a premiere website for our members.  I truly can't understand the motive behind plagiarizing some of our work and calling it your own.  Maybe it has something to do with ignorance, like they don't know that what they did is grounds for a lawsuit, or just copying someone's stuff in general is wrong.   I guess that's how the children in California get through school. 

I was always taught that stealing from another is wrong, they can make claims to the fact that they think that their challenge page is theirs but I find it hard to believe that my thoughts are the same as theirs.  I do not have a super mental power that can transmit my thoughts across the entire country to just a select bunch of people, if I did I'd be in a freak show.  If you choose to look at the source of their challenge page,   then look at our source for our challenge page, you'd see what is a glaring, obvious example of what I mean.

They call themselves a "professional Quake Clan" but real professionals create their own ideas, not steal them from other people.  As a business professional myself, I feel that I must do what ever is necessary to stop this ignorance before it breeds more of our creativeness copied onto other sites. 

Notice how I have not mentioned the perpetrators of this crime, and that is how it should be and always will be.  We (the leaders of the Wrecking Crew) will always show this kind of professionalism now and in the future.  We ignore problems and they go away, just like our original problem with another unmentionable group of ignorance.  I ask   all of our members to show this kind of professionalism in everything you do and say on other sites, servers, and in your daily lives.  We do not wish to baby-sit any more nor will we start in the future.  I hate being long winded but this is something that I cannot ignore and cannot allow to happen.  What's next our news page? Damn, I don't update for like 3 days and you guys go wacky!! hehe. Well here is the latest... Casey (the dog) will not be coming to the party. In a one on one interview I asked him a few questions. Here is a portion of that interview:

Jazz: What is your best fighting move or tactic?
Casey: Teeth. That's all I need.

Jazz: Are you scared of maybe someone being bigger that you and pouncing on you?
Casey: Hell no. I'll bite big butt's just like little ones.

Jazz: Anything else you want to say?
Casey: I would join the WC Clan but I have trouble using the keyboard without chewing on it.

Also Lucas will not be showing. He said "I want Icepops.." and then just went and started watching Jungle Book. Guess that means he is not interested.

A tribute to bad programming...
Awww hell... Freezer figured out how to archive the old news updates?  Time to redesign the site again...  heheh

Well I've been out of web world for a few days, had to do some stuff in the Real World.  Windoze NT is Blue-Screening™  me more often now, so I'll probably be reinstalling it on schedule.  (Everyone using Windows version greater than 3.11 should be reinstalling their operating system at least once every 6 months... Microsoft suggests this)  It's quite weird the way it craps out in a completely different way than Win95 did.  It never recognized my sound card driver properly, and so every once in a while it will give me a blue screen because of sb16drv.dll for no reason.  The odd thing is, it does it at the most ridiculous times, and never twice while doing the same thing.  Does it crash while playing Quake, which plays sounds constantly for hours at a time? NO.  Does it crash while playing MP3's which require a large amount of CPU time to play?  NO.   It crashes when its playing the little doodleydoodle wav when a menu box pops up (from the Robots sound scheme) or the little click sound it makes when a dialog box closes or some other stupidly ridiculous time when it's not overloaded on RAM or CPU...

There, I feel better now.  I've made my problem your problem by making all of you read about it.  Now that everyone is annoyed by my computer crashing, I can rest a little easier. 

Also, anyone who has any cool little sounds that you think would be cool to have as a radio sound on the server, send em to me.  And if you think of any sounds that would be useful to have, but don't actually have any wav file that says it, send me an email with what you have in mind and we'll make them ourselves.    Like if you're playing and you think to yourself that it would be useful to have a voice saying "Enemy entering through tunnel!", or something like that, then write it down and send it in.  Oh, and if you're going to send more than like 500k at once, send me an email ahead of time saying so!

Oh and yes, I'd like to see how many drunk guys it takes to beat up that dog too... heheh  From what I've seen, Lucas (Jazzman Jr.) has been warming him up for the big fight for the last week or so... and all he got was a little scratch on him!

The Limits of the Lame extend to no end...
OK, I know I've written a lot for one day, but when I checked this out, I just had to put it up:

If you go and check out the Dead President's clan site and go to their WAR? page, you will see that it looks REMARKABLY SIMILAR to OUR Challenge page... In fact, it is exactly the same as ours, except for a few slight changes.  They got rid of the colors and made it all black and white to match the rest of their site, they shrunk the size of the table a little bit, and they added a line to make it play that OUTSTANDING background music, but everything else is CUT & PASTE right off our site...

Now I went and looked at the dates the files were made, and found out that their Challenge page was put up only 3 (THREE!) days after the dpwhoops.html was made.  If you remember, dpwhoops.html was a page dedicated to how Abe [DP] was a god compared to us and his proof, which was a half-meg picture showing the whole console history of a particular level.  That page was last modified on 06/23/98 (I still have it in my cache, it's been moved/deleted now), and their Challenge page was put up on 06/26/98.  (I made it a separate link because these mental midgets made it so that you cannot see the whole Challenge page or even get to the Submit button with their whacked frames, at least not in IE3)

OUR Challenge page, was last modified almost a month before, at 06/04/98.  It was one of the last pages to be converted to the new look, and it looks like all the other pages on our site.  On their site, their Challenge (WAR?) page stands out from the rest of the pages because none of the other ones are in boxes like that.  You can also see the 3D box effect (using IE) is messed up because they changed the colors around and it only works with certain combinations of colors.

I used to think these guys were just stupid, but I've changed my mind.  I have to personally salute them on their mental abilities.   There they were, in a violent rage over being insulted by lesser Quake2 players... having beaten lower life forms and been accused of cheating... they attempt to defend their sacred honor against these horrible Wrecking Crew savages... sending hate mail to our members and putting up anti-WC propaganda on their personal pages... harassing us 24 hours a day on our server to fight a clan match against them... changing IP addresses after they were banned to try and insult us as other people.... and they STILL have the clarity of mind to go and steal a page off our web site and add it to their own....

It takes a very unique kind person to be able to do that... The kind of person who either:
1) doesn't understand the stupidity of what they're doing  or
2) has absolutely no concept of shame or embarrassment

In fact their particular brand of uniqueness is so strong, I can feel myself getting dumber just by TALKING about them...   Let's just hope they don't learn how to breed...

Well I don't know if we should allow such propaganda to be displayed so prominently.  We may have to charge a fee for the space on our site..what do you think Martin..Greg can kick back some of the money he spends.hehehe.  Anyway the banner looks good and what the hell maybe Jazz will mention us in there somewhere..(hint) and if you haven't gone and read the page DO IT NOW!!..yeah give Jazz  feedback too, just like this..Hey the System Requirements for the GTA review were HARD to read..Try putting black text on a gray background, what you think we like looking at orange on gray..you know better..hehe.

GD Banner and stuff...
Actually I am very surprised that nobody said anything about the banner on the front page. Hehe, not that I want any heat over it!! I made the banner for the Gamer's Digest site and I liked how it came out so I wanted to put it somewhere. The clan page is the best place I could think of. (Martin- Can I put it on the ERA realty sites? hehe)

Anyway, Zapman & Frag God were at my house last night and we were all talking about how cool the 1st annual WC Party is going to be next Thursday. We are gonna have 8 members there. That's pretty damn good. One of members all the way from Illinois is actually going to be there (ok, so he was coming down anyway..). It should be a lot of fun. Clan Party and other things...
Well if you tried to get on the server you obviously see nothing new..it crashed..well this is just on par with what we always have happen.  Well enough of that I'm sure its something stupid or just a little hiccup that Jazzman-X will remedy tomorrow.  It looks like the first WC clan party (only held in Florida, sorry wish we could hold it for everyone to attend) is going to be Thursday, July 16 at 7:30pm in Ft. Myers the location so far seems to be Hooters (damn jazz we get out voted all the time, are Hooters that important to everyone ;-) ) so it looks to be an enjoyable night.  One non-Florida member (Antimatter) will be attending due to his timing of a trip to SIGGRAPH in Orlando.  So you all will have to hassle him to get the lowdown on us Florida people..heheh - Freezer 9:41pm EST

Demolition Site server update...

Well I was not able to make it to the practice on time but when I got there, there were 3 members still on and so I joined them for a little unofficial practice.  It was fairly entertaining, as more people eventually dropped by and everyone took turns killing each other / complaining about lag.   Here are two screen shots taken during this time that are kinda cool.   Pictured HERE are two seldomly seen members of our clan engaged in actual combat.  And HERE is a picture which offers some explanation for the severe frustration experienced by several members of the opposing team while playing against me... People occasionally ask how I survive particular situations where most mortals would have surely died.  The answer is that I am usually starting the fights with the stats shown in the picture (plus 300 power shield when avail).  I know Cheasy in particular was disappointed several times when his expertly aimed Railgun shots were rewarded with only Quad rockets coming back at him...  :)

Hey look at me now..just someone clue me in and BOOM stuff happens.  Well I still haven't figured out this news page (the HTML gods won't let me know about it) BUT I bring gifts for you....QUAKE 3.17 PATCH..yeah buddy that's right I got it BEFORE the world tonight..or was it last night..hehe..well whenever it was I got it just after (I mean minutes after) it was available.  Here is the changes made to the software.

CTF Practice...
Well, practice sucked. Everyone decided to show at different times so we never were able to all hook up and play through the plans that I had setup for the practice because they kind of involved certain key people. I was there from like 850-940 and while we did have people there we didn't really have the right people. I did say 9-930 for practice start which I guess was a mistake because I didn't realize people would then take it for granted to show up 10 or 20 minutes after 930pm. No big deal. I will let someone else plan & run the next practice though. In all honesty I have had 2 shots at it and it hasn't seemed to work. Maybe someone else will have better luck. CTF Practice night
We will be ICQ/emailing the password for the server to all members later this afternoon. The practice starts at 900-930pm and will last about 60-90min. Here are a few items and how we plan to practice. (this is based on at least 5 people showing, I'm sure we will have more than that)
