*Server issues and Clan Matches
OK just basically ignore everything that was said about the CTF server on this page for the last day or two (Just read this post :).  We have been trying out many different configurations and options with the CTF server, and will continue to mess with it over the next couple days until it works or we shoot the computer.  We really need help testing out each different setup, so we can find what's causing it to crash.  So if you are online and you see the server is still up and there are a couple of you online, please grab some people and get on the CTF server and frag and cap as much as possible.  It has so far been up and running for about 24 hours, which is the longest it has been up in the last couple of months.  If it crashes while you are on it, please send us an email telling how many people were playing at the time and if anything unusual happened right before it froze.

Also, Jazzman needs to visit the servers one more time to set up a last couple things, and then we will be able to use our servers for matches again.  We hope to get the CTF server stable enough that we can start scheduling CTF practices and matches again.  Also, we have had quite a few AQ challenge requests that we declined because the admins were all extremely busy and because we couldn't lock/unlock the servers for matches.  (As those of you who were at the last AQ match we had, an unpassworded server does not work too well when you're trying to run a match).  So try and hang in there for a little while longer so we can get this stuff all straightened out.

LB3 pictures and demos are also coming.  I will be spending several hours working on them this weekend.

CTF Server...change of plans...
As you have probably already seen now....the CTF server is down again. We tried 2 different versions of Lithium (1.25-beta 1 and 1.23 along with 1.24) and they all continue to crash. So our best assumption is that Lithium has decided it will not run on our server anymore. So for an experiment I think we are gonna try to bring the server up as a standard Q2 CTF server tomorrow. If I am able I am going to go to the servers tomorrow morning and make the changes with the help of FRaG GoD sending me some configs.

So if you see the server back up tomorrow please try to test it out. If it crashes again then it must be something corrupt with a CTF map or something similar. If that happens we may then delete all of the CTF files and reinstall from scratch. But I would rather avoid that time consuming task if I can.

If the server operates fine as a standard CTF server than we may start looking at other CTF mod variations that will not have the difficulties that we have experienced with Lithium. Too bad though, Lithium is very cool and was stable for us for a long time. I wish these problems would not have started. - Jazzman-X [7:45 pm EST]

The return of the CTF Server??
As some of you may have noticed the CTF server is back up. I upgraded it to the latest Lithium 1.25-beta 1. This version has several fixes in it and hopefully it will help with the crashing problem. I ask that any of you WC members that play CTF try to go on it tonight (if it is still up) and try playing on it for an hour or so. See if all goes well. Hopefully when I get on later tonight it will still be up and I will come on and test it too.

If any of you see anything weird or set wrong please email me and let me know ASAP because I may swing by the servers again tomorrow morning if something looks wrong tonight. - Jazzman-X [3:45 pm EST]

Action Server updates...
I added the armyterr map to the AQ2 server today. (get map here) I also updated so config files on it to take care of some banning issues and also to set the server up to automatically download new skins/models/and maps to people who do not have them regardless of their settings in the multiplayer menu. This should help out newbies to get our skins since both are not standard AQ skins or models. - Jazzman-X [3:45 pm EST]

LB3 forms and LB4
I just wanted to thank everyone that filled out the form that Freezer put up in regards to LB3. We have already gotten some great feedback from those and are still looking them over. The main organizers had a quick meeting last week and discussed the feedback we had gotten and discussed issues that came up at LB3 that we definitely want to change for the next one.

I think we have basically covered every issue that was a small problem at LB3 and have figured out solutions to make LB4 a lot better based on the feedback. We did not really discuss a lot about LB4 in particular. We just wanted to cover all these issues while the event was still fresh in our heads so we would not forget later when we did start planning.

The only decision that was kind of made (based on feedback from all of you) is that LB4 will probably take place like the first weekend of November. That is not official just a tentative planned date based on everyone's feedback, holidays, and recovery time from LB3. - Jazzman-X [3:45 pm EST]

To answer the question again...
Ok I wanted to make this official. Masume is in our clan. Thanks to all of our guys who were looking out for people using our tag. Masume is another local Florida player. He plays AQ, CTF and TFC. So say hey to him and welcome him to WC (even though he has been in the clan forever). - Jazzman-X [8:45 pm EST]

Small preview of LB3 pictures...
Ok you guys can stop bugging me for a second, hehe. I got some pictures today from Toxoph of LB3. He sent about 8 or 9 to us. So we have around 50-60 pictures I think. We are planning to get those up soon. As a matter of fact in case you all did not know already we have registered the domain of lanblast.com and that is where you will most likely see them (and future event details once we recover from LB3).

So for now here is 3 quick pictures I threw up for the people that did not come so you can get an idea of how cool it was. Just click on the image to check them out.
Click to check out a preview of our LB3 pics

These pictures are pretty good except the group shot. We have a much better one (on Zapman's computer) which we will put up later. This will at least let you guys all see that something did happen at LB3. So check them out and cry wishing you were there. Maybe when we announce details and dates for LB4 you will get off your ass and come huh? Bring some of your so called "Skillz" to the table, hehe. - Jazzman-X [9:15 pm EST]

CTF Server and more...
We are going to try and get the CTF server situation fixed this Thursday. I am planning with the help of Freezer to go to the server and upgrade the Lithium to the latest 1.25 version. Then we are gonna test it as much as we can to see if we can make it crash at all. If we do and have problems then I will instead switch it to a standard CTF server instead. Hopefully this will fix the problems and we can have a CTF server running around the clock again.

If I have time I am also going to add a few new maps to the action server. I know armyterr was one I had a lot of votes for and I will have to look at what other ones you guys asked for in the emails I received before. I may upgrade the AQ server to the latest version if I do not hear any bad reports between now and then. The server overall runs good and does not crash a lot. I would hate to put a new version on there that causes some new problem. I will look at it though. - Jazzman-X [3:25 pm EST]

Survey and LB4
I would like to thank the people who took the 15 minutes out of their lives to fill out the survey.  As of this moment I have 5 survey's in my possession, that's a far cry from the total number of people who went to this event.  I really would have liked to have everyone to have done this already so I can go to the LB4 meeting today armed with a wealth of info from you.  But I see now that this is not going to happen.  Come on folks all it take is about 15 minutes to answer some basic questions and provide the feedback for our next event.  I'm not asking you if the neighbor's dog is telling you to go kill chicks, I am asking for your honest feedback to help us better the next LAN BLAST event.  So get yer asses in gear and head on over to the survey and fill it out, the life you enrich by filling it out may be your own.

Server changes...
I changed all the passwords on the servers today. I went to the servers and found out that numerous non WC members have the supervisor password. This is unacceptable. As I was there I sat and watched a {DKS} SpuDs log in and get supervisor status.

So as of right this minute we are not going to give the password out. Only Freezer and FRaG GoD (along with me of course) have Admin access to the server to change maps, kick people, ban people, etc. As of right now it is up to Freezer and FRaG GoD as to whether we will give the supervisor password out anymore.

I am sure you will see a post from one or both of them later today as to what their decisions are. So do not go bugging us for the passwords. If we want you to have them we will give it to you. Sorry this had to happen but we cannot have people not in our clan having access to kick people from the server. - Jazzman-X [4:25 pm EST]

Clarification and more LB3 comments...
I guess I need to just say a few more things. I am sorry if a put a negative spin in any way on the whole LB3 event. It was in no way bad. LB3 was in my opinion an awesome event and I think everyone had a good time. We did have a few minor problems but with an event like this that cannot be avoided.

After talking to several people I think we have all come to the conclusion that the biggest factor that caused any small problems was the time schedule of the event. It was a major mistake starting it so late on a Friday (although it did sound cool when we planned it) and then going through the night like we did. It made all the events get out of whack and people were tired and irritable from not getting more than 3-4 hours sleep on Friday night. I think that like 98% of any problems that happened at LB3 were because of this fact. People were just tired and cranky.

We fully intend to change that for LB4. It will most likely be a 2 day event. Start early on a Saturday. Then stop around 11pm. Then start up again around 10am on Sunday and go through until like 6pm. This will enable everyone to be fully rested each day for everything going on. Including the administrators who really need to be the most rested of all to keep things moving and organized.

Everyone please fill out Freezers form so we can get even more feedback to make LB4 better. We have learned a lot at each LB event so they should just keep getting bigger and better. Please give us any suggestions you have on that form so you can have an even better time at LB4.

I really hope all the guys who made it to LB3 can make it back for LB4. It was great hanging out with all of you and I hope you can become regular attendees of the event. We spread them out enough that hopefully you guys out of town can make it again. Look forward to seeing you then. - Jazzman-X [10:25 pm EST]

LB3 Notes By ZapMan
I had a great time at LB3 and I thought everything went well. Everyone that showed up with an open attitude and a willingness to meet new people also had a great time, I think. The most important thing about LB3, as Gator said while we were there, is the simple BS'ing and hanging out with other players, nothing else.

Some of you at LB3 saw me making notes on my Linux box. Here's the text file. I took all these notes from the perspective of an admin, so a lot of it may be boring for everyone else. Remember, the best way to voice your opinions of LB3 is to fill out Freezer's survey form below. In fact, I suggest you do that first, before you read my comments, just in case you're a young impressionable one. :) - ZapMan -[3:58pm EST]

LB3 Survey
The Survey is up.  The purpose of this survey is to help plan LB4 with your comments and answers.  I need ALL ATTENDEES to answer this survey with the utmost of honesty as this is serious business around here.  We don't plan these things for months to have sorry events.  Please go and fill it out, remember, BE HONEST.  Your most honest of answers will help plan LB4 so if you are not honest we will definitely have something all screwed up.  This is only for people who ATTENDED LB3, NO ONE else should fill this survey out.  It may be a bit lengthy but please answer all the questions.  Thanks.  - Freezer -[10:36pm EST]

Q3 Test Server List
I have added a Q3 Test Server list (a small one) to the site.  I did not add 50 million servers to the list I added ones that are heavy traffic servers and a 1 on 1 tourney server.  If you all don't like it or have a problem with it let me know, otherwise frag on and yes maybe you too can feel the wrath of the reigning Q3 Tourney Champ Freezer if you feel  you're good enough.. - Freezer -[5:53pm EST]

LB3 demos needed

If anyone recorded demos of games played during LB3, please send me an email or ICQ message and let me know what you have.  I only have a demo of the AQ final match, and we'd like to get as many of them up as we can for people who missed them.  We'll put up demos of the regular games, but we'd particularly like to have as many of the actual matches available as possible.

Addicted to TFC.
It is all Freezers fault! Hehe, he put that damn Half-Life- Team Fortress Classic on my computer at LB3 and now I cannot stop playing it. The mod is serious fun. The last 2 nights I have been on playing with Freezer and Myth who also has it up and working. We all 3 played together last night for like 3 hours. It is a lot of fun. I think just about everyone in our clan would like it. It has the elements of CTF (flags to cap, rocket launchers) in it along with even elements of AQ2 (sniper rifles, grenades).

Any of you that have Half-Life should try it out. We have been playing on this one server quite a bit. It is a server run by Media-One I think. It is called something like "NaplesHSD TFC Server". Freezer can correct me if I have it wrong. Some of the maps and missions are very cool. The kill the prez one is very fun.

The other great thing about TFC is you can basically have a good time and be successful regardless of how shitty a connection to the internet you have. If you have bad lag from time to time you can still play as a medic or engineer and have a great time and help your team. The engineer is a lot of fun and me and Freezer have been perfecting our skill at it the last 2 days.

Anyway....as you can see I am addicted and now want TF2 to come out even more. I really hope some of you will hook up with me, Freezer and Myth on the TFC servers. Hope to see you all there.  - Jazzman-X [10:25 am EST]

LB3 - The Good
It was an awesome time. I think overall everyone had a good time and it went over real well. We had some of the most intense tournaments I have ever been involved with and we also had a real good group of guys that I think all got along real good. I definitely think it was a huge success. I hope everyone is able to make it back for the next one. Once again I would like to thank everyone for coming and helping to make LB3 such a great time.

We should have some pictures up real soon.  - Jazzman-X [10:25 am EST]

LB3 - The Bad
I do not think this is really bad but I did want to inform everyone of it. I have decided for several reasons not to act in the capacity I have in the next LAN BLAST event. All this means is that I will not act as a head organizer for LB4.

My reasons for this are many but I will try to explain best I can so no wrong impressions are made. Basically I have decided this based on numerous criticisms, complaints and somewhat snide remarks made towards some of my decisions made at LB3. These were from numerous people. I also really feel based on lack of comments or compliments (disregard Skube and Biff) on things we did that people overall felt things should have been run differently in regards to some items.

I am not saying I am mad or even that I did not have a good time. I am not sore at anyone. I fully intend to be at LB4 but I do not intend to act as a head organizer. I will be just an assistant administrator and help the other guys to get things done and organized. I just do not intend to act as the guy making any major decisions on things like I did this time.

Again I want to stress I am not mad at anyone. I had a great time at LB3 and I really think everyone else did as well. I just think maybe someone else needs to head up the next event. I have taken a large role in decision making at the last couple LB events and perhaps now there needs to be some new ideas. Perhaps one of the last events main administrators will step up and take over. I will gladly help them however I can. But I will not act in the role I have at the last 2 events unless for some reason my decision seriously jeopardizes the continuing of LB. I do not think this will be the case though. - Jazzman-X [10:25 am EST]

July 18, 1999 - LB3 the Day After

Freezer on LB3
WOW  I am awake and still want to sleep some more, and its almost 7:00pm hehe.  Seriously I woke up at 2:00pm today and after installing the important files back on my machine and setting it up I decided I'll let you all know that LB3 was a great success.  For all of you who didn't come or couldn't make it you missed one hell of a good time and probably the most exciting CTF, and Quake 3 matches ever.  Sorry no one took demos, or at least I don't think they did.  Look forward to the announcement of where you can view the pictures taken at the event.

One last order of business is this, we were left with only 3 of the Official LB3 shirts.   If you are interested in snagging up one of these items please email me.   These are on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE basis so if you want to buy one, you better hurry as I expect they won't be extras long. -

July 14, 1999 - 1 day to LB3 "So like are we gonna play some games or something?"

"The bomb has been armed sir..."
It is just about detonation time on LB3. Our meeting went real well and everything is looking real good. I think everyone is gonna have a great time. I just talked to Gator on the phone a few minutes ago and understand that Hirudin and Oblique are already here. May get to meet them a little later on.

I just had my last big meeting with a client today so now I just have to cruise through the next couple days doing the normal work stuff until it is time to go tear shit up with the rest of the LB3 people. For those of you not coming be assured we will take lots of pictures so you can all see what happen and that way you will be looking forward to coming to LB4 even more. Was that slightly.....evil? - Jazzman-X [11:15 am EST]

July 13, 1999 - 2 days to LB3 ""I promise I won't tie Skube to a post..."- Freezer

LB3...LB3....LB3...
It is getting close to a drunken frenzy now the way people are getting hyped up. Anyway...we had one more addition today to the people coming. SB-Viper will be making an appearance at LB3. He is one of the old original members and it will be great to see him.

Here in about an hour I am going to go meet with FRaG GoD, Zapman, Freezer and Gator at the LB3 site. We are gonna do a last minute look over of the place and map out some of the set up. It is really getting close. - Jazzman-X [4:15 pm EST]

July 12, 1999 - 3 days to LB3 (I should not have to tell your ass how many days!)

LB3 DIRECTION CHANGES (VERY IMPORTANT)
Well the excitement never ends and everyone would have been screwed up in a big way if they had taken the directions I posted.   Seeing how the wonderful city of Naples decides they want to build things the route has changed slightly from what it was previously.  EVERYONE who is driving to the site should look at the revised directions page and make sure you read it and print it out.  I did  however, have a few lefts where it should have been rights but it wasn't until you actually got to the site where they should have been rights..hehe  No ones perfect.- Freezer -[9:53pm EST]

LB3...the tension builds...
( * Important LB3 info please read if you are coming*)
We are getting really close now. I think everyone is at insane levels of hype by now. I spent like 3 hours the other night doing stuff for the event. From typing up events to dipping the awards in my big vat of melted 14k gold. Everything is moving pretty much right along on schedule. I got a report from Gator that the order on the T-Shirts is in and they will be ready on Thursday.

We also have had a few more additions to the LB3 confirmed attendees. Toxoph will finally be making his first appearance at LB3! He will be coming on Saturday Morning. Also Gator has informed me that 3 people he works with are now coming. I did not have their names so I added them with generic names.

That brings the total for LB3 up to 24! Should be a rocking time. My understanding is that like around 18 of the total 24 are planning on staying around the clock non stop! We are gonna be some tired bastards by the time Saturday night rolls around, hehe. Do not worry though we have all kinds of events, contests, distractions etc planned to keep everyone chugging through the whole event. But, remember you can bring a pillow or sleeping bag if you want and there will be a designated rest area where you can lay down and catch a nap. We will have a board up to with upcoming events and you can be requested to be kicked awake in order to compete in something if you want.

LB3 as you all know is scheduled to begin at 8pm this Friday. We will however allow people to start showing up at 6pm to begin setting up your computers and everything else. Please do not show up any earlier than 6pm!! We have a lot of set up to do and we cannot be distracted by people coming early. We are making a pretty nice set up but it is gonna take us time to complete it. So....again do not show up any earlier than 6pm on Friday.  - Jazzman-X [11:15 am EST]

July 10, 1999 - 6 days to LB3 (possibly the best thing since sliced bread)

Freezer Notes...
Ok folks, I have been testing this damn connection of mine all week and it still is flaky as hell one minute I'll be fine and playing good and the next I'm frozen like a piece of crap on a winter day.  I however, manage to become ranked 46 in Action Quake Espionage doing it though, weird as hell if you ask me but Espionage is quite cool, reminds me a little of TFC.  You CTF dudes might like it as it contains a CTF variant called Capture the Briefcase I think the goal in that is quite obvious.  I will be most likely sending all of you ICQ auths sometime early next week as I am planning a reformat of this beast.  Me and Gator will most likely spend all afternoon Sunday backing my shit up (he has a CD burner, Thanks Gator) seeing how the only true back up media I have is a 250mb Tape which really won't hold my 8.4gb hd full of stuff..hehe  So be on the lookout for that, If I lose any of you oh well..hehe  Maybe putting a real operating system (DOS..hehe)  on this machine, will fix this stupid problem with the connection plus a clean HD doesn't hurt either.

On another note, SB-VIPER  LIVES!!!  hehe  just a quick heads up to all, SB-Viper, a long time WC'er and Donator of the first Demolition Site server hardware is back up and running and has been playing CTF and plans on AQ2 soon, he has also been playing TFC for classic quake and DM on that with our lovely WC clan skin of old.  I have tried to put the crew skin into Quake 2 using the model in the Generations mod for the Quake guy.  The skin fits but Quake 2's palette has no mercy for the colors in our skin so until I can figure out how to get the crew skin up and running again it will have to stay on Quake for now..it sure was a spiffy skin if I may say so.maybe someone with some art talent will make us a new one. -

July 8, 1999 - 7 days to LB3 (not counting today and the 16th first day)

I am the Kingpin...
I just finished the single player game on Kingpin tonight. I felt I needed to share that with all of you. Hehe. It is the first game I have finished in years as best I can remember. It was a very good game. It felt like it was over too quick but it was still pretty cool. One thing I did notice is that the beginning of the game was much more interactive and alive it seemed. As the game went on it basically turned into a shoot everything and ask questions later game. It was disappointing after how cool the first episode was with all the NPC interaction.

I do think that the fact that I actually played the game all the way until the end says a lot about it. I still have not finished Half-Life yet. (I have been told I am like 90% through it though) I definitely recommend Kingpin to anyone with the ludicrous system requirements needed to play it.

One weird thing I thought I would share with all of you. In my system I have a STB Velocity 128 8mb AGP card and I also have the SLI dual Voodoo 2 12mb Diamond monster cards set up. I found that for online play I got a significant increase in performance by playing in default OpenGL mode (on the STB) rather than in 3dfx OpenGL. Not sure why but it was a noticeable difference. - Jazzman-X [11:55 pm EST]

Jazz Notes...
Not much new going on. Just keeping busy and trying to get prepared for LB3. I just want to let you guys know a few things real quick that are coming to LB3. You guys should know that some guys besides me are putting a lot of effort into LB3. Gator, Freezer, FRaG GoD and Zapman have all been putting in hours of work into making this event be a great one. So make sure to just thank them if your having a good time next weekend.

From the way things are looking right now I cannot even comprehend how this thing could not be kickass. One reminder though to those of you new to this LAN BLAST....make sure your are on your best behavior. We will not hesitate to kick you out if you start any fights or trouble at the event. This thing is about having fun and hanging out with some fellow WC members and friends more than anything else. So just come and have a good time and hang out.   - Jazzman-X [10:45 am EST]

Server Updates
Well I guess a few changes will be happening to the servers. I have gotten several complaints from people on the deepcanyon map that is on the AQ2 server. To be honest with you I have still not even been on the server to play on it. So next week most likely on Tuesday I will be going to the server location to take it off and add in at least 1 or 2 new maps. I have had 3 people ask for armyterr so that may be one.

All of you that play on the server should email me with like 3 map choices you would like to see. List them in order of preference.

The CTF server still has some problems. I am anticipating that the WC guys will have a little WC server meeting at LB3 to decide what to do about it. We may switch to a different version of CTF or ....well whatever. I am gonna wait and let everyone talk and decide. I figure since like the biggest CTF guys are gonna be at LB3 we can come up with a plan there.  - Jazzman-X [10:45 am EST]

July 3, 1999 - 13 days to LB3 -  Happy 4th of July

Freezer notes
Well I did a preliminary test last night to see what kind of ping I would get to the server and to see if anything I have been doing in the past two days worked.  Well sorta and almost.  I found out a few little things along the way to my current status and I have taken the appropriate steps to hopefully remedy those.  I feel I have almost solved my problem to the point where it may allow a reasonable game to be played..I'm not sure it will solve the problem but I guess I am headed into the right direction.  I hope to have completely solved this problem by the end of next week so you may start to see me back on the server again, no promises though.  Oh by the way (this is only to the people who update this news page) you guys are either forgetting to or just don't realize it but your LB3 counter was a bit off yesterday, I fixed it now start at the number above and subtract one from it every day until the 16th..hehe. - Freezer -[3:20am EST]

July 2, 1999 - 14 days to LB3

LPB
I just received a telegram from the federal government that I thought everyone should see:

To: (WC)-ZapMan STOP
From: Special Agent Smith, Bureau of Low Ping Bastards, Treasury Department, United States Govt STOP
Subject: LPB Agent combat gear ready for covert operation "LB3"
Encryption: Quadruple-DES
Sensitivity: High

Dear (WC)-Zapman STOP Many thanks for your assistance in our raid on Columbian drug lord in S. America this summer STOP What would we do without you? STOP You are awesome with dual M-16's STOP Come by sometime and we'll shoot STOP STOP The Bureau of Low Ping Bastards official LPB combat T-shirts are on their way from DC to Naples Florida STOP As you know these T-shirts are designed similarly to the FBI or ATF combat uniform shirts and jackets that the public is familiar with STOP They are black STOP On the back they say "LPB" in large letters and "Agent" underneath STOP They should be made available to attendees of covert operation "LB3" for security reasons STOP During LB3 all members will be Low Ping Bastards and should be properly identified in order to avoid friendly fire STOP Good luck STOP

Well, it seems that my summer "internship" has paid off quite well. If anyone would like an "official" LPB T-shirt, please email me by Wednesday July 7th, and we will forward your name for the appropriate security background checks that must take place before you may receive one. Please note that this is a DIFFERENT T-shirt than the one that you said Yes or No to on the LB3 sign-up form. Currently only signed-up LAN Blast 3 attendees may order one. Pickup will be at LB3. The price will be $13.00. (This is one dollar higher than the official LAN Blast 3 T-shirts because black costs more.) And just to preempt some questions - yes, you may order this one without ordering the official LB3 T-shirt... and we are not sure if they will be available after LB3 to non-LB3 attendees...... probably not.

July 1, 1999 - 15 days to LB3

***Deadline for LB3 sign-ups!!
The event is coming up really quick and so we are cutting off any more registrations this weekend.  If you want to attend LAN Blast 3 and have not signed up already, you need to do so today or tomorrow (Friday)!  We will NOT be accepting unannounced visitors at the event, and we cannot change plans to accommodate people who tell us 2 or 3 days before it begins.  Also everyone who's coming to LB3 will get their name on the official LB3 T-shirt, and we're not going to write any names in with a magic marker just because you didn't sign up in time.

(I say 'official' LB3 T-shirt because we will have a second type of shirt available for those who want to buy it.  More on this later).   So if you or someone you know has not signed up yet, get your asses in gear and fill out the form.  Click on the LAN BLAST button on the left side of this page, and then click on the links of LAN BLAST 3, and then REGISTER FOR LB3.

Well this has probably been coming for quite some time now but last night it came to be a reality.  As of today  Freezer, will no longer be playing any game online due to uncontrollable circumstances surrounding my internet connection.  The past three days I have fought the packet loss monster and have lost every time.  Something that was enjoyable has just become a burden to me.    I have tried every trick in the book to stabilize this connection but nothing has worked.  I can be in the server for a few minutes and have a 180 ping then boom I'm kicked the next second for exceeding the max ping.  I have no more tricks up my sleeve, it all falls on Interline as to where the problem is.  I had a second line installed and it is cleaner than my normal phone line and I can connect at a higher rate so by normal physics a person shouldn't get the type of packet loss I have but I am.   I even switched the lines back around and still nothing improves.

So its with great sadness that I bid online game farewell until I somehow fix this problem.  I will always be online for some reason but not to play as it is a pain in the ass to attempt to do so, and it makes me look like a moron as well being kicked off our server every five minutes because of packetloss. -
