New Web Powerhouse Alliance

Local web design firm NeoReality Design Technologies forms alliance with FL Access; the pair announce new communications services available over the web.

FORT MYERS, FLORIDA — Local web design & development firm NeoReality Design Technologies recently inked a comprehensive strategic alliance with the young local Internet service provider FLAccess. As part of the deal, NeoReality is moving its offices from Naples to the suites shared by FLAccess and its sister company, Metro Electronics & Repair, a well-respected computer and business electronics sales and repair shop with hundreds of business clients in the Fort Myers area.

The goal of the threesome is simple. "We aim to provide a one-stop shop here," explains Metro Electronics owner Bernie Crews. "One team of people can provide all of your hardware sales and repair service, your Internet access over modem or ISDN, and your web site design and hosting."

FLAccess and NeoReality, together about a week, have already unveiled two new communications services available to local businesses. Web sites containing contact and order forms typically email the user's answers to the business. NeoReality and FLAccess now have the capability to direct that output to the business's fax machine — a profoundly convenient solution for restaurants, real estate agents, any business that takes appointments, and any business that already uses a fax machine as part of its workflow, but may not necessarily have computers standing by at all times to check email. Another service provided by the pair is paging service directly from a web site. Without requiring an alphanumeric or email-equipped pager, web site visitors can simply enter their telephone number and click a button on-screen to send out the numeric message to a standard personal pager.

"Between these companies there is a wealth of experience covering the Microsoft to Linux spectrum," notes NeoReality's Web Development Director, Martin Flack. "We came in and told Todd Lancaster of FLAccess that we had some clients interested in fax and paging capabilities, and what we would need from FLAccess to make it happen. In six days we put it together. The sheer speed with which we will be able to move from idea to implementation on new services will be nothing short of devastating for our competition." Interested parties can test the new systems by visiting www.neoreality.com/faxandpage.

The trio will be opening their doors for an Open House on Saturday December 4, 1999, from noon until 3pm, at their offices at 12155 Metro Parkway, Suites 13 & 14, Fort Myers. Anyone interested in the services of NeoReality, FLAccess, or Metro Electronics can visit and meet the staff.
