Philosophy of Design
Traditional Media Design
We develop advanced web sites that look great and draw upon time-tested principles of design. We want every page created by NeoReality to extend a sharp, clean, confident look.
“Designers have been creating page layouts since the Gutenburg bible.”
Designing web sites — beautiful and effective web sites — bears striking resemblance to existing design. In print. In television. Designers have been creating page layouts since the Gutenburg bible. A web page differs, but a lot less than you'd expect — the human eye responds to layout and color much the same way on any visual medium. Television producers have kept mindful for years that the human psyche grows impatient while waiting for content, or viewing uninteresting content. Web sites, too, must load fast; and they should be designed to provide your message, using brevity where appropriate, and thoroughness where wanted. A successful web team cannot ignore traditional media; they must embrace its ancient lessons.
Your site should flow visually, provide tasteful content layout, guide the reader's eyes, and remain consistent with your whole marketing motif. Nothing should exist simply to exist; everything should be purposeful. We specialize in clean, professional, confident sites. Sites that earn respect.
Cutting Edge Media Design
On the flip side of the coin, a web site is not a magazine or a television show. Its uniqueness? Interactivity. Web visitors can move around your product liberally, and even to change its content to meet their needs. You can pull in outside resources very quickly. Communication on the Internet differs from conventional means, and offers new methods of business. A successful web team must understand and utilize the advantages of the technology.
“Its uniqueness? Interactivity.”
Your web site's navigation should be clear — and thoughtful. Users need intuitive controls at every point. The site should appear visually and materially consistent throughout. Where a good reason exists to deploy interactive code, your users will be able to customize the information, to make it relevant to them.

Mockups
Phase II in a NeoReality web site project is Mockups. These are a set of prototypes created from a Creative Brief. The goals of Mockup Selection are to ensure client control and feedback at a critical point in site development, to compare and contrast differing aesthetic opinions, to combine useful elements, and to rally support within the (client) organization.
